Welcome to ACAN 2027 in Denmark!
We are delighted to welcome you to Denmark for the fifth ACAN conference - a special anniversary and a true highlight of the year for our neurofeedback community. Denmark is often celebrated as one of the happiest countries in the world, and despite our small population of 5.8 million, it is home to one of the highest concentrations of trained neurofeedback practitioners and clients per capita. This naturally raises an inspiring question: Do you think there is a connection between happiness and neurofeedback?
This year’s program places special focus on substance abuse and the importance of the placebo effect. In addition to our core two-day schedule of presentations, research, and clinical case studies, we are thrilled to introduce an exciting new initiative designed to deepen your experience.
Over the years, many of you have expressed a desire for more time to connect, share experiences, and engage with fellow practitioners. To honor this, we are offering an exclusive add-on workshop and networking session on Sunday, June 13. During these four hours, we will facilitate immersive discussions around key clinical topics - such as the client’s inner experience, the influence of the therapeutic setting, and the impact of our own actions during Neurofeedback sessions. You will also have the opportunity to participate in "slow dating" style exchanges with seasoned experts. We warmly invite you to extend your stay and take even more value home with you.
Located just 45 minutes from our conference venue in Helsingør, the historic city of Copenhagen offers iconic sights such as the Little Mermaid and a vibrant cultural atmosphere. We encourage you to allow extra time to explore and enjoy the warmth and beauty of Denmark.
Thank you for being such a vital part of our community. The entire EEG Institute team from Denmark looks forward to welcoming you to an inspiring, collaborative, and memorable conference.
