Welcome to ACAN 2026 – Connecting Knowledge, Practice, and People

Welcome to ACAN 2026 in Croatia! It is with great joy that we welcome you to our fourth annual conference for applied neurofeedback, a gathering dedicated to learning, connection, and the shared exploration of neurofeedback in clinical practice. As our field continues to grow and evolve rapidly, we are constantly inspired - and challenged - by new ideas, technologies, and approaches. This conference offers a space to pause, reflect, and deepen our understanding of how neurofeedback works in its essence, how it supports brain regulation, and how it helps our clients. At the same time, it invites us to explore how our work can be enriched through the integration of complementary techniques and perspectives.

This year’s program places special emphasis on the theoretical framework of the ILF method, its optional integration with frequency-based neurofeedback, and recent scientific research. We will also present a wide range of clinical cases, with particular attention to trauma work, as well as personal reflections on how neurofeedback supports us as therapists in our own professional and personal development. During the conference, you will have the opportunity to experience live demonstrations of various techniques that may further enrich your neurofeedback practice. ACAN 2026 takes place in Opatija, a city with a long tradition of hospitality and a setting that naturally invites connection—through conversations, shared experiences, and moments by the sea. Alongside the professional program, we hope you will enjoy the social events and the relaxed, inspiring atmosphere of this unique location.

Thank you for being part of our community. We look forward to learning together and to shaping the future of neurofeedback through collaboration, dialogue, and shared curiosity.

Warm regards,
